Safety routines
The pool's lifeguard
The lifeguard at each pool is on duty during our classes. The instructors are in the water or on the step with the swimmers.
Adults at the edge
An adult from the family stays at the edge or on the bench while children have class. Swimmers rinse before they get in and wait seated until their instructor calls them.
Weather and closures
If a pool closes for a storm or maintenance, we tell families by text message and the class is made up in the same session.
