Family policies

Photos of your child

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

In the water, and watching from the edge

An instructor is in the water or on the step with each group, and the pool's lifeguard is on duty during our classes. An adult from the family stays at the edge or on the bench while children have class.

What to wear and bring

Bring a swim shirt or swimsuit, the swim cap for your level, goggles, a towel and sandals. Swimmers with long hair wear it tied back under the cap. At the outdoor pool, put sunscreen on before you arrive.

Absences and late arrival

Tell us on WhatsApp if the swimmer will miss class. If they arrive more than ten minutes late, they join the group if the instructor allows it; if not, they make up the class.

When to keep the swimmer home

If the swimmer has a fever, diarrhea or a skin or ear infection, stay home. They can come back after a full day without symptoms.

Closures for weather and holidays

We close on school holidays. If a pool closes for a storm or maintenance, we tell families by text message and the class is made up in the same session.

If you stop classes

Tell us on WhatsApp at least a week before the next session so we can offer your place to another family. We talk with you about the tuition you already paid.

Who can watch class

An adult from the family can watch from the bench or the edge. We ask that you do not walk onto the wet deck in street shoes and that you let the instructor guide the swimmer in the water.
